Mook International Guitar Competition 2026

The association Muzika u koracima (MooK) is proud to announce the upcoming Mook International Guitar Competition 2026, which will take place in Punat, on the island of Krk, from 1 to 3 May 2026.

This competition brings together young guitarists from primary and secondary music schools, both as solo performers and in chamber ensembles. Participants will compete in several categories according to age and ensemble type. The repertoire is freely chosen, with an emphasis on different stylistic periods in the higher categories.

The most successful participants will be awarded valuable prizes, including a handcrafted master guitar, music accessories, sponsor awards, and participation in the Music Camp “Gitara 2026”.
